Szántódpuszta területe dübörgött a basszustól.

Hasznos oldalak:

On August 2nd LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA will release their new album, concisely entitled »LMO«.

Get your first impression about this opulent orchestral project here:

LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA was formed by the three RAGE musicians Victor Smolski (guitar, keyboard and chello), Peavy Wagner (vocals and bass) and André Hilgers (drums) as a continuation of 1996’s »Lingua Mortis« album – back then a true piece of pioneering work.

The entire album was mostly composed by Victor Smolski who cooperated with two orchestras from Spain and Belarus, enlarging the number of this mammoth project’s participants to more than 100. Together with long-term co-producer Charlie Bauerfeind (BLIND GUARDIAN, HAMMERFALL among others), Victor Smolski produced and mixed the record in »Twilight Hall Studio« Krefeld, Germany. The final mastering is to be done within the next days.

»LMO« follows an exciting concept on the burning of witches in Gelnhausen in 1599, written by vocalist Peavy Wagner and based on a true story.

Apart from the three RAGE musicians, two female vocalists belong to LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA’s regular cast: Jeannette Marchewka and soprano singer Dana Harnge. Guest vocals were contributed by Henning Basse (ex-METALLIUM), among others.

The tracklist of »LMO« reads as follows:
01. Cleansed By Fire
a) Convert The Pagans PT. 1
b) The Inquisition (instrumental)

Mael Mordha has completed work on its fourth full length album, due for release later this year via Candlelight Records. The follow up to 2010’s ‘Manannan’ is the band’s first album as a four piece following the departure of guitarist Anthony Lindsay in 2011. The album was recorded at Foel Studios in Wales, produced by Chris Fielding (Winterfylleth, Electric Wizard, Mourning Beloveth) and mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano (Ghost, Angel Witch, Primordial).

The album contains eight tracks in total and continues the conceptual themes of the band’s previous work which fuses historical and mythological tales of ancient Ireland.

Frontman Roibeard O Bogail said: “We are really proud of how this one turned out. It took a lot longer than expected but we feel it’s a further evolution in terms of the band’s song writing and the unique Mael Mórdha sound. It’s also a little bit darker and takes our music into some interesting new areas. There is a bleakness to it in places but also some crushing heaviness, galloping riffs and emotive melodies. We’ve already played a couple of the tracks live and they’ve gone down really well, so we can’t wait for people to hear the whole thing and get more of the songs into our live set.”

The knee-breakers at Lambgoat.com today hurl forth a bit of pre-weekend audio animosity with an exclusive track premiere of “Without Master” from New Jersey death metal deviants, GRIMUS. The song comes by way of the band’s previously announced forthcoming full-length debut, Omnicide.

Lyrically centered around mankind’s killer instinct and violent purpose in life, “Without Master” sets the album’s mood with 3:45 minutes of chronic, blasting hatred. Elaborates guitarist Michael Munoz: “‘Without Master ‘incorporates fast, albeit simple and catchy riffs, while keeping the song as fluid as possible.
With its members hailing from a plethora of extreme metal acts past and present including Iberian black metal outfit Windfaerer, Metal Blade tech/death act Allegaeon and others, GRIMUS unite in their mutual discontent with the human race. Omnicide, a term literally meaning the killing of everything, is a testament to man’s inherent, bloodthirsty nature and audacity to alter his surroundings, through efficient forms of destruction. Paradoxically, mankind is willfully committing suicide in its attempt to become a godlike creator. This album is a soundtrack to the decimation of all that is known, “the age of none.”

A thirty-six minute onslaught of blasting and grooving barbarity, Omnicide was tracked and mixed by guitarist Marco Bobadilla at Crimson Recording and mastered by Alan Douches (Cannibal Corpse, Beneath the Massacre, Job For A Cowboy etc.) at West West Side Music. GRIMUS will self-release Omnicide on June 25 2013.

The band will be bring their ruckus to their home turf next month with additional live performances to be announced in the coming weeks. Save yourself!

GRIMUS Live:

6/22/2013 E&A Entertainment & Hall – Elizabeth, NJ

GRIMUS is vocalist Bryan Martinez, guitarist Marco Bobadilla, guitarist Michael Munoz, bassist Michael Goncalves, and drummer JP Andrade.

HUNTRESS is back with the follow up to their buzzworthy debut album Spell Eater, which was released in 2012. The album entitled Starbound Beast will be released on June 28th in Europe and on July 2nd in North America via Napalm Records. The band recorded the album at Hobby Shop Studios in Los Angeles, CA, working with famed producer Zeuss (Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, Agnostic Front). The artwork for Starbound Beast was created once again by Vance Kelly (Slayer, Ghost B.C., Mastodon).

Today HUNTRESS has unveiled the first song from Starbound Beast. The track entitled “I Want to Fuck You to Death” was co-written for singer Jill Janus by legendary Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.

Frontwoman Jill Janus spoke about the collaboration:

“I met Lemmy through my former band Chelsea Girls. We’d play hard rock and metal covers featuring guest celebrities. Lemmy was already friends with the girls, so he played “Ace of Spades” with us and it blew my mind. We stayed in touch and would meet up at The Rainbow for drinks. So I asked him a few months back over Jack & Cokes if he’d write lyrics for a Huntress song and he said ‘Sure’. A few weeks later, I met him at the studio during Motorhead recording sessions. Lemmy handed me two two pieces of notebook paper with the lyrics for ‘I Want to Fuck You to Death’. I am beyond honored. To me, this is a love song. It is the most romantic song I’ve ever heard.”

Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister also spoke of the collaboration:

“The first time I heard Jill’s voice with Chelsea Girls, it was phenomenal. I wrote these lyrics from her point of view, the Huntress. ‘I Want to Fuck You to Death’ was inspired by her, written for her. I’ve always had a soft spot for her. And a hard spot too…”

The song is available as an exclusive stream on the HUNTRESSFacebook Page. When visiting the facebook page, clicking the “like” button will enable the audio.

In support of Starbound Beast the band will be touring across North America this summer as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. The band will be featured on the Jagermeister Stage alongside Machine Head, Battlecross & Others. The tour kicks off June 29th in San Bernardino, CA and runs through August 4th in Dallas, TX. A complete list of dates can be found below. The band took part in the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Press Conference and performed live, check out footageHERE.

HUNTRESS was spawned from the preternatural union of Jill Janus with underground metal bands Professor and Dark Black. They thrive on thundering drums, heavy riffs, spectral solos and catchy choruses that come from the band‘s musical concoction of occult science and bong rips. HUNTRESSremains true to the roots of melodic heavy metal with a penchant for thrash, death and black metal.

Following their lauded Sage album, released in 2011 by Neurot Recordings, the new LP from Nashville trio ACROSS TUNDRAS is set for harvest on the band’s newly founded D.I.Y. label.

On the new LP Electric Relics, ACROSS TUNDRAS take their ever-expanding style of modern Americana further into the same westerly direction they’ve been traversing for the past few years, organically fusing their swells of post-doom into Spaghetti Western soundtracks and meandering blues/rock jam sessions. A wide variety of sounds seamlessly mingle throughout the slow motion base founding guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Tanner Olson, percussionist Casey Perry and bassist/vocalist Mikey Allred (Hellbender) lay down, Allred also contributing pianos/organs, synthesizers, mellotron, trombone and more, and his brother Joey (Hellbender) contributing guest slide guitar and vocals. Additionally, Perry hand constructed the scale model landscape for the cover art, with Olson handling the graphic design and layout. ACROSS TUNDRAS recorded Electric Relics at their expansive Ramble Hill Farm in February, and is releasing it on their own label of the same name, making it a fully self-managed D.I.Y. release.

As the band states: ”Electric Relics is our humble offering placed at the crossroads of past, present, and future tense. Age-old energies and three phase electric power intersect to reveal hidden truths of bygone times, modern mysticisms, and sound the alarm for uncertain days to come. We walk through this shadowy land in search of a spark to light the fire and illuminate the depths of consciousness.”

Electric Relics is available for free/name-your-price download now via Bandcamp, where orders for the deluxe vinyl edition — being pressed on 180-gram virgin vinyl and bearing gatefold jackets – can also be placed. Stream and pick up the album HERE.

In support of the album, ACROSS TUNDRAS are hooking up with their cohorts in Hellbender for a Western U.S. tour, kicking off with a hometown show on June 6th and winding out through the West Coast and back through the Midwestern states.
