TRELLEBORG
The formation from Saint Petersburg (Russia) describes the music as epic Viking/battle metal with humppa. Last year the band released a single called In the Name of Love. Also, the first full-length album Lands of Njord is still in everybody’s ear. Trelleborg is one of the main acts of the North Winds over Europe 2012 tour.
YGGDRASIL
Yggdrasil from the very South of Sweden play a powerful metal rooted in the band’s interest for Scandinavian folk music. In spring 2011, the first two albums Kvällningsvindar över Nordrönt Land and Vedergällning have been re-released together with the current album Irrbloss. Together with Trelleborg they will headline this tour.
VUOHIVASARA
The style of Vuohivasara is related to the region in Finland the band comes from – Ostrobothnian Occult Black Metal. Vuohivasara is Finnish and it translates as “Goathammer” in English. The “goat” represents evil and the “hammer” represents hate. 2009 the latest album A Cult Revived came out. A new album is in progress.
WOODSCREAM
The music performed by Woodscream is a harmonic composition of the various genres of modern metal, which includes the elements of European folk traditions and the atmosphere of the dark middle-age tales. After three single releases, the band brought out an EP named Pentadrama in 2010. Woodscream is also located in Saint Petersburg (Russia).
