Check out the 3rd studio update from Grammy-nominated metal group AS I LAY DYING being premiered exclusively on The Gauntlet, HERE. The clip shows guitarist Phil Sgrosso working on the title track, Awakened, while recording the group’s latest release in Blasting Room in Fort Collins, CO with renowned rock producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents) and mixer Colin Richardson. AS I LAY DYING will release their sixth album, Awakened, September 21/24 on Metal Blade. Awakened will be out as a jewelcase-CD, as a limited Digipak including a bonus-DVD and bonustracks as well as on vinyl!

After wrapping a successful run as a main stage act on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival with Slipknot, Slayer and more, the band will launch a European tour with Trivium, Caliban and Upon A Burning Body before returning to the U.S. in November for a nationwide tour.
