Almost four years after “Here dead we lie”, the belgian (formerly) postrockers from Cecilia::Eyes are back with a brand new full-length album, called “Disappearance”. A new record, released as the past ones through the dEPOT214 label (Catherine Graindorge, Nox…), to come on the first lights of May on CD/LP and digital. More ambient and less “post-rock” than the previous records, “Disappearance” will mark a turn into the musical path of the band to an shoegaze/drone experimental universe.
Founded in autumn 2004, cecilia::eyes, composed of Christophe Thys (guitars), Xavier Waerenburgh (drums & keyboards), Pascal Thys (bass guitar), Michael Colart (guitars) and Gauthier Vilain (guitars & samples), is a subtle mixture of instrumental and dark music, with a taste for slow and noisy tunes. Listening to c::e, is above all being ready to penetrate the oneiric universe that it calls upon.
In the meantime a first song “Lord Howe rise” has just surfaced on Bandcamp and the album is available for pre-order at the same location.
