„I need a fucking pit, right now. Right. Now.” – Popdose.com

„Daemonicus is not one to eschew melody or variation in a stumbling attempt to recreate Left Hand Path, Slaughter of the Soul or any other Swedish monument, but there’s no doubt they’ve got a lot of influence from Dismember, Grave, Unleashed, Bolt Thrower, Amon Amarth and other Euro gods.” – From the Dust Returned

„Daemonicus has tapped every aspect of Swedish death metal and rolled it up into one evil package for our listening pleasure.” – WickedChannel.com

Daemonicus is a Swedish death metal band spawned in 2006.

The first slab of gore – a four track demo, entitled Demon Inside, was a self-produced effort that received great reviews in magazines and fanzines. In February 2007 Daemonicus recorded their second audio assault. Swarm of Death a three track demo that ultimately landed Daemonicus a record deal with ViciSolum Productions.

Daemonicus’ debut album, Host of Rotting Flesh was recorded in Ballerina Audio in October 2008 and was released in the spring of 2009. During the summer of 2009 Daemonicus parted ways with bassist Tommi Konu. His replacement was found in Martin Pudas who joined the band later that year.

However, before Martin signed up for the bass duty Daemonicus decided to try out their own studio, C.C.H.B. Studio, to record some songs. Two new songs and two covers were recorded. The result was crushing and it was released in February 2010 as an EP entitled 11th Hour.

Daemonicus did their first tour abroad in January – February of 2010. That tour took the band to the Balkans. The last gig of the tour, in Sofia, turned out to be drummer Magnus Boström´s last gig with Daemonicus. His successor was found in Johan Hallbäck who joined the band in May 2010.

Daemonicus will continue to play death metal with this solid line-up and have just released their second full-length album, Deadwork, on Abyss Records.
