John Henry (voc.) comments: „We are so excited to announce our upcoming winter European tour with Machine Head, Bring Me the Horizon, and Devildriver. European audiences are true purists when it comes to their love for metal music and great metal concerts, so there’s no better place in a world for this tour to go down. This tour will take us to cities we haven’t been to in a decade, as well as a few new ones. Meeting new friends and exploring other cultures has always been something we enjoy as a band…and getting to explore some of these place with this great bill for the first time is both a great privilege and an honor. If you can make it out to one of these shows please do you wont be let down.”

DARKEST HOUR have just wrapped up the video shoot for „Love As A Weapon” off their latest release „The Human Romance.” Directed by Scott Hansern, the video takes on a very traditional performance approach to metal videos.

Guitarist Mike Schleibaum comments, „Filming the video with producer Scott Hansen was totally bad ass! Filming on a rooftop above our hometown of Washington, DC, with hail and lightning storms in the distance made for an epic filming experience. The final product will include us performing coupled with time lapsed montages of both majestic and disgusting footage. The contrast of these will surely make for a sick piece of metal videography.”

You can view some stills from the video shoot on the band’s Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/DarkestHourDudes

The band has also announced their participation in this year’s Summer Slaughter tour. They’ll be supporting The Black Dahlia Murder and Whitechapel alongside Six Feet Under and Dying Fetus.

The band released their latest record „The Human Romance.” earlier this year to much anticipation with singles like „Love As A Weapon” and „The World Engulfed In Flames,” including the highly successful music video for „Savor The Kill”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naQCF2iWPt0
