| Longer Pure Steel-supporters may already know the Tyrol based DESERT SIN because of their debut „The Edge Of Horizon“, which has been released through us in the beginning of 2009. This one brought them a gig at the ninth Swordbrothers Festival, were they convinced totally.More than two and a half years later the five Austrians come up with the sophomore effort „Destination Paradise“. On this piece they present well produced, melodic Heavy/Power Metal with a European influence, which is even more elaborated than already known. Still there reigns Keyboard-powered and partly by a pounding and fast doublebass-drums driven steel, which is proved by songs such as the opener „Kill The King“ (no Rainbow-cover!), „Follow Me“ or „Would You Release Me“. Also the expressive voice of front man Sandro Holzer hasn’t lost anything of its power and innovation.With “Destination Paradise” DESERT SIN made a noteworthy successor of their debut, which will unconditionally please the whole target group. Together with this wunderful artwork of Uwe Jarling a real must-have! | ||

| Statement band:“Todays’ music scene has not really that much to do with music. Labels don’t search for high quality bands but chase trends to get a share of the decreasing pie. As a band who has been part of the scene for many years it’s ridiculous to see how people try to puff hot air to something it will never be. Music is art, most people seem to forget about that! From the start our new label constantly bucked this trend with success. They attach importance on music instead of jumping on bandwagons. With our sixth album “This Harmonic Consonance” we are now a proud part of the family and really look forward to a hopefully long cooperation. Statement Label:We had an eye on the German veterans LANFEAR since they started and we are very proud to welcome such a name on our label. LANFEAR are known to give nothing about any trends. From start they did their own thing without looking to the right or left. Therefore, the band is obviously fitting very good to our label group. | The Metalians from Cologne WOLFEN have just found a new home with Pure Legend/Pure Steel Records. The fourth album just named “Chapter IV” will be releaesed in the end of January. After some band member changings now the old formation is working again. Produced in the Gernhard studios now the band has a much more variable sound. The band itself is very convinced about the result and happy to have a label loving the concept too.Andreas v. Lipinski/WOLFEN: “It was always most important to us that we have full liberty in songwriting creativiy. The result is “Chapter IV” and so works the band. Our new label understood that we are extremely happy with that and they stand united to us.”Andreas Lorenz/Label: “German Metal at its best. What else to say.
