Germany is known as the homeland of Power Metal, and MESSENGER seems to be one of the strongest young bands out there. With their last album „See You In Hell” (Massacre Records) MESSENGER were able to expand their status as bearers of hope in the range of Traditional Metal and convinced their fans all over Europe of the qualities of their genuine, honest and energetic stage shows. On their current album „Starwolf – Pt.I: The MessengeRs” they move into new horizons – into the infinities of the universe to be precise. In association with the novelist Victor L. Pax,MESSENGER will play the central characters of a science fiction novel which has specially been created for the band with the name: „Sternenwolf – Die Boten” („Starwolf – The MessengeRs”). The artwork is a contribution from the illustrator Wiebke Scholz, who has established her reputation in the fantasy and games scene. As for the musical development, the guys from Saarland stepped up their game sticking to their style, though: thrilling riffs, bombastic choirs, catchy melodies, virtuous guitar play and the variable four-octave-voice of the lead vocalist, which will blow metalheads’ minds! Fasten your seatbelts for the trip with the MESSENGER space pirates!
