French cult Goregrind legends GRONIBARD will reissue their untitled 2001debut full-length as a limited edition cassette with bonus tracks via Kaotoxin Records.
Released in 2001 through Bones Brigade records, that seminal release was met with massive hype within the Grindcore and Goregrind scene. Said release, along with a series of completely insane live gigs helped the band achieve cult status. Kaotoxin Records will re-introduce the world to this slab of chaos as limited-edition (100 copies only) cassette tape featuring bonus material. A digital edition will also be made available. Release date is tentatively scheduled for late 2014/early 2015. This re-issue will feature brand new artwork and layout courtesy of ex-GRONIBARD drummer Natachatte.
Formed in 1998 as a side-project of Warscars and Frankensperm members (Albatard, Necronenbourg and Godemichel for the former, Anal Capone for the later) and soon joined by ex-Assplosion sole member, P’tite Bite, Gronibard soon became a worldwide legend in the Goregrind scene and went on to release a split CD with Gorerotted and Gruesome Stuff Relish in 2002 (Split Your Guts, Vol.1), an EP titled Satanic Tuning Club that same year, a second full-length, We Are French, Fukk You, in 2008 and a split 7″ EP with ANAL PENETRATION in 2009. In January of 2012, the band released its first cooperation with Kaotoxin, the „Satanic Tuning Club Turbo! 12„ LP tenth anniversary compilation of all of their 2002 recordings with additional bonus material.
