We are damn proud to announce the signing of the Danish thrash metal legends HATESPHERE!
Just in case you aren’t familiar with them – which is a shame! – here’s an introduction to the band:
Formed in 2000 by guitarist Peter „Pepe” Hansen, HATESPHERE quickly overpowered the Danish metal scene.
HATESPHERE’s first three albums, „HateSphere” (2001), „Bloodred Hatred” (2002), and „Ballet Of The Brute” (2004) upgraded the band’s status from local sensation to Europe’s hottest up and coming thrash quintet.
„The Sickness Within” followed in autumn 2005 – after the band inked a deal with SPV Records – and received raving reviews from the worldwide metal media!
HATESPHERE already toured worldwide, sharing stages with bands like The Haunted, Exodus, Kreator, Behemoth or Morbid Angel. They also appeared on festivals such as Wacken Open Air, With Full Force, Roskilde Festival and many, many more.
Furthermore, HATESPHERE made history by being the first Danish band to tour China!
„Serpent Smiles And Killer Eyes”, the fifth studio album of the band, shot up to position 26 on the Danish National Music Charts!
After supporting Dismember on their European tour, HATESPHERE released „To The Nines”, produced by Tue Madsen, which was yet another incredibly well received album. With the album, HATESPHERE also won the award for the best metal album at the Danish Metal Awards in 2010!
„The Great Bludgeoning” (2011) entered the Danish National Charts on #40 and won the prestigious Danish Gaffa Award for the best hard rock album!
HATESPHERE are now ready to release their 8th studio album „Murderlust„, which will be the first release on Massacre Records!
