With the release of their second album “The Art Of Metal“, Hysterica takesa huge leap forward. They’ve progressed enormously since their debut album “Metalwar” released in 2009. Hysterica is all about melodic and classical doom and power metal, and on this second album they’ve enhanced their sound with keyboard, extreme vocals and extravagant choirs. Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) and Marcus Jidell (Evergrey) has produced the album. Anni De Vil has developed into a fullblown vocalist with melodic vocals mixed with growl.
With this album Hysterica wanted to broaden their horizon. Seven different artists has interpreted one song each – a metal sculpturer, a cartoonist, a photographer, a writer, an oil painter, and a tatooer. Each artists has been given free hands to interpret one song each. Four digital singles from the album has been released during 2011.
Hysterica has toured Sweden, Europe and Russia playing both clubs and big stages on for example Sweden Rock Festival and Hardrock Hell (UK).
At the moment the band plays some Swedish shows and prepare for a festival summer.
