Swedish forward-thinking visionaries LAKE OF TEARS have been just confirmed for the Devilstone Open Air, set to take place on July 12-15 in Anykščiai, Lithuania.
Generally considered as gothic / doom metal band,LAKEOF TEARS tend to include psychedelic, progressive, and most recently – death metal elements in their sound as well. Their recent album “Illwill”, released in 2011, features even darker and more intense approach, reflecting mournful themes in favor of bleak, violent, and disturbing imagery.
The band will be of great importance during 2012’s Devilstone Open Air– the biggest extreme and alternative summer music festival inLithuaniaand theBaltic States. It counts its fourth edition this year, with the British ANATHEMA headlining. Other bands confirmed are French ALCEST, Norwegian KAMPFAR, American WARBRINGER, Swedish DEMONICAL and ENFORCER, SCARAB fromEgypt, among myriads of others. Full line-up will count no less than thirty rock and metal bands in total, to be announced shortly.
Devilstone visitors will enjoy live show performances on two stages throughout the three days of the festival, along with other smart activities, including insane parties at night rocktheques, various contests, jam sessions, sport tournaments and more.
