“Day Of The Massacra“, the first-ever compilation of French death/thrash warriors MASSACRA‘s 80’s demos is out now in Europe!
Guitarist Jean-Marc Tristani comments:
“MASSACRA will never reunite but we are all proud in the band to come back with “Day Of The Massacra”. Brutal 90’s death metal will never die!”
“Day Of The Massacra” contains the demos “Legion Of Torture” (1987), “Final Holocaust” (1988) and “Nearer From Death” (1989) remastered at DMS by Ulf Horbelt (Morbid, Asphyx, Grave, Necropsy) while retaining the original raw charm. Nathaniel Colas did a great in-depth interview with original guitarist Jean-Marc Tristani who also provided many rare photos and Thomas Westphal of the infamous Necromaniac Zine (Germany) did the cover.
“Day Of The Massacra” is available as standard CD jewelcase (on midprice!) with an extensive 24 pages booklet, digital download and LP on 180g vinyl with a LP booklet plus a MASSACRA logo patch!

The next round in Century Media’s series of MASSACRA-reissues will be the first three albums “Final Holocaust” (1990), “Enjoy The Violence” (1991) and “Signs Of The Decline” (1992) coming out in early 2014. All three albums have been carefully remastered for CD and vinyl by Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony (www.templeofdisharmony.com) and also offer bonus material, liner notes, reworked layouts, high quality cover artworks (no cheap and blurry scans), rare photos and whatever else there is a fan of real death metal could ask for.
