Though hailing from The Netherlands, CELESTIAL SEASON was often considered the perennial “fourth wheel” of the early UK tricycle of doom, ala My Dying Bride, Anathema and Paradise Lost. Prior to the band’s departure into psychedelic stoner doom, “Forever Scarlet Passion,” remains a solid work of early 90’s doom as the genre began taking its grip on the hearts of metal audiences worldwide.

Metalhit.com to release debut albums from IMMOLITH and MACABRA
Metalhit.com welcomes the debut albums of two emerging artists from the extreme metal underground: IMMOLITH and MACABRA.
IMMOLITH, originally hand-picked by Infernus (Gogoroth) for his own label, Forces of Satan Records, will release their official debut full-length, “Storm Dragon,” through Metalhit. Produced by Chris Grigg (Woe), “Storm Dragon” is a full-fledged, no-frills black metal assault on the senses. This is straightforward US black metal at its finest!

MACABRA is a transnational music project between America’s famed underground illustrator Mark Riddick and Belgian vocalist Adrien “Liquifier” Weber, known for his work in bands such as Vociferian, Conjurator, Alienante Damnation, etc. The result is an inventive-yet-punishing barrage of early ’90s-inspired raw, dark death metal in the vein of Mortuary Drape, Necros Christos, Grave Miasma, etc.
MACABRA’s debut, “Blood-Nurtured Nature,” features the cover art of Halseycaust and is presented in a fine Digipak CD format. “Blood-Nurtured Nature” is set for release on February 14, 2012. Pre-orders are available here:
