This Tuesday, October 18th will see the debut release from NUNFUCKRITUAL, In Bondage To The Serpent, invading North America via France’s Debemur Morti Productions. Likely to go down as one of the most corruptive, vile albums of 2011, the album is the bastard spawn of Teloch (Nidingr, Mayhem), Espen T. Hangård (Altaar), Dan Lilker (Nuclear Assault, Brutal Truth, Nokturnal Hellstorm) and Andreas Jonsson (Tyrant).
NUNFUCKRITUAL‘s In Bondage To The Serpent crawls from the gutter like a diseased, decayed and decrepit corpse; a choking dirge; a hideous, malformed infestation of filthy underground metal that ignores trends, defies categorization and brings together some of the darkest, blackest, nastiest manifestations ever committed to tape. Degraded and corrupt, these six blasphemous conjurations call upon decades of extreme metal experience to devastating effect, resulting in an album so gross, rank and genuinely disturbing that it is the aural equivalent of being cannibalized by the leprous sisters Plague and Death. Recorded in both Norway and upstate New York, the album was produced by Teloch, mixed and mastered by Tom Kvålsvoll (DHG), and includes guest vocal contributions by Attila Csihar (Mayhem, Sunn O))), Aborym) and Ravn (1349). NUNFUCKRITUAL commissioned renowned artist Christian Sloan Hall (Slayer, Danzig, Marduk, King Diamond) to illustrate the graphic front cover for the album, thus making the madness of In Bondage To The Serpent complete.
