Swedish Pain of Salvation have just kicked off their highly anticiapted, acoustic based European tour, which seens them joined Dutch singer/songwriter Anneke Van Giersbergen (ex The Gathering) and Árstíðir from Iceland for a truly outstanding, different live experience.
Specially for this tour, Pain of Salvation are building up a 70’s style living room stage-set and came up with special PoS song-material from all eras, which has been reworked and rearranged for this show. The band will also cooperate and interact with Anneke van Giersbergen and Arstidir throughout the show in order to create a truly memorable event that breaks out of the traditional opener/opener/headline structure. Additionally, Swedish multitalent Roger Öjersson (Kamchatka, Tiamat) will be joining PoS on guitar and vocals for this tour.
Pain of Salvation’s Daniel Gildenlöw checked to comment as follows:
“This is a very different kind if tour, and even though we have lots of stuff and goodies planned for the first gig in Krakow, my gut feeling tells me that, as soon as we are on the buses with the other musicians, this tour will be take on an ever-changing nature and no two shows will be alike.
Truly looking forward to it!”
