Hot News: Project X – Australia Releases Video Clip For ‘Alive’ From “D Generation”

Western Australian band Project X have released their first video clip from their acclaimed album “D Generation”, for the slow burning metal ballad ‘Alive’.

Expertly directed by Hugh Buttsworth, the video features performance footage cut with a storyline with a clever twist in the tail – we can’t give anymore away than that without spoiling it for the viewers!

The dramatic roles are taken by the vivacious Jess Truscott, Leon Todd of rising melodic rockers RAGDOLL (Leon also features heavily on the album “D Generation”) and the sultry Yvonne Mitchell.

Project X singer Matt Williams said “Hugh, along with everyone in front and behind the camera, has worked really hard to help us realise our vision for the ‘Alive’ clip.  It’s currently our most downloaded track on iTunes, and seems to be voted the most popular on our song poll amongst our listeners. We’re thrilled by the end result, which has exceeded our expectations tremendously.”

The video features haunting footage shot in Fremantle Cemetary, alongside further storyline footage filmed in and around The Grand Boulevard Tavern, Joondalup, plus performance footage of the band shot at Elite Rehearsal Studios.

Guitarist and singer Sandra Calvezzi enjoyed reprising her guest appearance on the song for the video, “Working with Hugh was an enjoyable experience.  Awesome director and he captured the storyline perfectly. Thanks to Rick, Matt and all involved – I had a blast being part of ‘Project X’!”

Project X’s album “D-Generation” can be purchased through the usual digital outlets, or from http://www.100percentrock.com/cd-releases/project-x-d-generation.html
