Lantlôs: Information about „Agape”
„Agape” – a non-physical, self-sacrificing kind of love – is the basic concept of Lantlôs’ third album.
On the one hand, „Agape” is a radical departure from Post Black Metal, while on the other, it is also its consistent further development: heavy walls of guitars alternate with gentle acoustic parts, the changes in tempo hover between dragging and pacing. In addition, „Agape” will surprise you with extensive instrumental passages with a soft and warm atmosphere which doesn’t shrink back even from jazz. Counteracted by the harsh, strangely cold vocals courtesy of Neige (Alcest), the compositions seem devoid of sense, oppressing, and sombre: beauty reversed into its opposite.
„Agape” will be available in four different physical editions on October 28th, 2011, which can all be pre-ordered now:

Farsot: Information about „Insects”
Four years ago, with their cryptically entitled debut album „IIII,” Farsot were able to give a fresh impetus to the genre of Black Metal, musically and conceptionally.
Hence, the expectations for their highly anticipated sophomore „Insects” were high, yet Farsot haven’t been working on this album for four years in vain. The record contains a unique new definition of dark music, emphasising trance-like instrumentals as much as clear, conjuring vocals and many groovy passages. „Insects” is less focussed on pure aggression and catchiness, but more on emotional depth in all its facets – and in all its gravity.
