ANCIIENTS
Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of Vancouver metal quartet ANCIIENTS. ANCIIENTS have finished mastering their debut album slated for release in 2013. The as-yet-untitled album sees the gang forging together smouldering apocalyptic riffs, classic hard rock influences and unforgettable vocal melodies with an interplay praising both the natural and occult.
Regarding the signing, the band issued the following statement: „We are honored to have Season of Mist release our debut, the fact that they chose us and believe in us means the world. We are proud to represent them and have them representing us as artists, and look forward to working with them for years to come.”
Formed in 2010, ANCIIENTS have taken the Vancouver scene by storm. In their short time as a band, ANCIIENTS have already shared the stage with acts such as PIG DESTROYER, SKELETONWITCH, MANILLA ROAD, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, BORIS and HIGH ON FIRE, and been invited to perform at the prestigious Sled Island and Noctis Festivals.
KYLESA
“From the Vaults, Vol. 1”, KYLESA’s twelve-song collection which features unreleased, new and alternate versions of songs spanning the Savannah-based band’s catalogue, is now out internationally and streaming in its entirety via Loudwire.
“This project has been a labor of love”, explained guitarist/singer/producer Phillip Cope. “We have spent over a year going through old songs, covers, etc. and collected those we felt went well together; remixing and finishing them up. We didn’t want to release something just thrown together so we put a lot of thought and time into it. I am really happy about how this came together. I think it is a good representation of KYLESA’s different styles from early on to present day.”

The band is currently recording a new album at The Jam Room in Columbia, South Carolina with Cope once again producing the album. He has previously produced releases from BARONESS, WITHERED and BLACK TUSK.

HELL MILITIA
“Jacob’s Ladder”, French Black Metallers HELL MILITIA’s third album, is now out in North America!
HELL MILITIA streamed the song „Jonah”, via Cvlt Nation. The title track can also be downloaded for free from de the Media section of Season of Mist’s website.
On the album, lead guitarist T. Persecutor states: „HELL MILITIA opens the descent from Jacob’s Ladder. More violent, more twisted, more dissonant than ever, this album was conceived in isolation and opens new sides of the madness. ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ reveals the inner side of HELL MILITIA. Violent and dissonant, urban and religious, the new HELL MILITIA is a mix of old school and modern black metal.”

KOLDBRANN
KOLBRANN is the latest addition to Season of Mist’s Underground Activists division. The Norwegian Black Metal act’s forthcoming album is entitled “Vertigo” and has been set for a January 25th release (January 22nd in North America). Here are the cover artwork and tracklisting:

Last Friday, KOLDBRANN unleashed “Totalt Sjelelig Bankerott”, a 7” single strictly limited to 300 copies worldwide, including a song from “Vertigo” and an exclusive B side entitled “Kasjtjeijs Svøpe”. The vinyl edition is already sold-out but the single is also available digitally!
The video for “Totalt Sjelelig Bankerott”, directed by Effektor and featuring guest vocals by Erlend Hjelvik from KVELERTAK, can be watched on Season of Mist’sYouTube channel.

SEPTICFLESH
