Monument in Black, the new album from German Black Metal stalwarts SONIC REIGN is now available worldwide through Apostasy Records.
To mark the day on which this primal plague of darkness was unleashed upon the Earth, Apostasy Records has posted the song „Soul Flagellation” at this location.
SONIC REIGN‘s newest offering follows up 2006’s Raw Dark Pure (reissued in 2007 by Metal Blade) with driving muscular grooves and feral force again reminiscent of SATYRICON. The album comes highly praised by some very renowned names in the global metal community, including MELECHESH vocalist/guitarist Ashmedi who called the album „Intense, dark, [and] powerful.” KATATONIA’s Anders „Blakkhem” Nyström added that Monument in Black is „Raw and to the bone with a metal morbid consistent groove.”
