Hot News: Spock’s Beard launch play-through videos in advance of forthcoming tour

The latest album from legendary Prog-rockers Spock’s Beard, ‘Brief Nocturnes And Dreamless Sleep’, is out now and has been met with critical acclaim across the board including Classic Rock Magazine calling it ‘arguably the best album of their 20-year career to date.’ The band are soon to embark on a European tour in support of the album, and the band have given us a sneak peek of what they’ve been up to in the rehearsal studio.

Spock’s Beard’s new studio album marks the recording debut of long-time live drummer Jimmy Keegan, and vocalist / guitarist Ted Leonard (Enchant, Thought Chamber). As mentioned previously it also sees the return of one familiar name to the song-writing credits, that of Neal Morse who has co-written two tracks after having left the band way back in 2002.

Spock’s Beard will be on tour in May 2013, in support of their brand new studio album ‘Brief Nocturnes and Dreamless Sleep’. Joining the band on this tour will be Swedish Prog quartet Beardfish and Sound of Contact, the new band featuring Simon Collins and Dave Kerzner. Spock’s Beard had this to say about the tour package:
