Svartstorm formed in 2011 with the line-up consisting of members of local metal bands Dukhi Predkov, Dark Lord and Druknroll and quickly began to gain its audience. The band’s music combines fine melancholic melodies and extreme, energetic yet melodic metal. Svartstorm participated in some Russian rock and metal CD-compilations while playing lots of gigs in Saratov and other cities also supporting famous Russian and foreign bands like Degradead, Monoscream. Dehydrated, Lost In Alaska, Rarog etc.

“It was a very expected release for all of us. We came through starting the band from the very beginning, through line-up changes, through other problems – but soon everything calmed down, so we could manage the recording sessions. “Scars Instead Of Wings” is our first release besides all these compilations. And we are very proud we made it”.
Svartstorm will soon hit the road with mini-tour to support its recent release.
