Soen was formed by Kim Platbarzdis and former Opeth and Amon Amarth drummer Martin Lopez. Vocalist duties are handled by Joel Ekelöf and bass by Steve DiGiorgio who has played in Sadus, Death and Testament.
Soen debut album”Cognitive” was released by Spinefarm in February 2012.
