Unconventionally and emotionally sounding metal duo THE MOTH GATHERER have made their entire new album available for streaming prior to release date. THE MOTH GATHERER is recommended for fans of music in the vein of Neurosis, Pelican, Breach or Cult of Luna. „We just want our music to be an emotional explosion” – comments Alex, co-founder. „A lot of the songs is about death, missing people you loved who have passed away and losing hope in mankind. Due to the non-one-dimensional approach towards the created songs, the band’s playing style is hard to label. While it’s moving on the verge of the Experimental/Progressive metal etiquette, at the same time it introduces emotional and doomy compositions. The debut offers up long and complex tracks, but still surprisingly simple and compelling, with an abundance of tempo changes and variations.
