Helrunar are the undisputed spearhead of intelligent Pagan Black Metal. The bands’ discography comprises four albums thus far and sees both its artistic and commercial (#54 in the official German album sales charts!) peek in 2011’s double album „Sól”. The album is celebrated by fans and media alike and is already now talked about as a young genre classic. After frenetically celebrated festival gigs at Party.San, Summer Breeze, Ragnarök, and Metalfest Helrunar are now ready to unleash their storms of heathen force on club stages as well.
The Vision Bleak are able to look back on an extensive history as a live act. With nearly 100 concerts at home and abroad, including successful tours with Alcest, Therion, The 69 Eyes, Helrunar, and Negura Bunget, the masters of Horror Metal have gained renown as a stirring and energetic live band. Apart from that, the albums by The Vision Bleak are amongst the most successful of Prophecy’s catalogue. Their last record, „Set Sail To Mystery” (2010), entered the German Media Control Charts at No. 65, while its predecessor „The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey” (2007) charted at No. 93.
After a conjoined tour in 2006, both bands want to join forces for a concert trip again in spring 2012. Anybody interested in organizing a concert with both The Vision Bleak and Helrunar in March/April 2012 may address his offer to live@prophecy.de.
