Hot News: Watch Out Stampede sign deal with Noizgate Records

With WATCH OUT STAMPEDE, NOIZGATE Records hooks itself one of the hottest aspirants on the German post-hardcore-scene. The five newcomers from Bremen are well-known for their explosive live performances and have played themselves deep into the hearts of a relentlessly growing fan base. Banging breakdowns and angry shouts, nestled into a poppy songwriting with crystal clear refrains that move directly from the ear into the neck and legs, characterize the sound of this utterly promising, young band. NOIZGATE Records is planning the release of WATCH OUT STAMPEDE’s first studio album “Reacher” on June 13th, 2014.

Founded in 2011, WATCH OUT STAMPEDE have proven their enormous live power by playing innumerous shows and festivals (including support gigs for known entities such as Turbostaat, Emil Bulls or Eskimo Callboy). By now the five Bremen guys’ performances have with good reason the reputation of being really fat wrecking parties. After the posse, formed by the two front men Andreas Hildebrandt (shouts) and Dennis Landt (clear vocals, guitar), bass player Stefan Poggensee, guitar player David Werner and drummer Tolga Özer, had already single-handedly released an EP in 2011 and gained some trans-regional attention by covering Kesha’s US-hit “Die Young” in 2013, WATCH OUT STAMPEDE now have big plans for 2014: The band’s first studio album “Reacher” is to be released exclusively via NOIZGATE Records this year in June.

Shouter Andreas Hildebrandt meanwhile states: “Every song on ‘Reacher’ deals with relationships in one way or another: Not only between man and woman, but also among friends and their common desire to achieve something and to set out together. The timing for our cooperation with NOIZGATE Records is thus perfect for us. So far the collaboration is going really well and we feel very much at ease in our new harbor.”
