Míg az eddigi fellépők a heavy és a power metal szerelmeseinek kedveztek, most egy olyan bandát jelentettek be a MetalWar Fest szervezői, amely a thrashereknek fogja megtornáztatni a nyakizmait.
Svájc egyik legismertebb és legjobb thrash metal bandája, a Battalion is fellép az ingyenes MetalWar Fesztiválon. A zenekar 2001 óta játssza a jófajta, nyaktörő thrash-t, és eddig három nagylemezt jelentetett meg, amik közül kiemelkedik a tavalyi, izmos Set the Phantom Afire. MetalWar Fest 2013 – Best thrash band of Switzerland will rock the festival
While the previous announcements made it clear that the Hungarian MetalWar Fest will be a feast for power metal fans, metalheads who prefer the neck-breaking thrash metal genre will find their preciously brutal metal in the line-up.
