A címe Evangelion melynek jelentése: „Isteni igék terjesztése” („spreading the words of God”).

ENGLISH VERSION:
In August, ninth album of the well known Behemoth band will be released, many fans was waiting for it. It was worthy to wait two years for it. The title is „Evangelion”, which means „Spreading the words of God”. The usage of this expression can be associated with Bible-stories about setting people free, about the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus. But Behemoth uses this word in its purest etymological meaning, without having anything to do with Christian faith. The cover underlines this with its black and white representation. So the athmosphere is evil and the music also teems with satanic power.
Daimonos starts with a frightening intro, with its typical satanic noise and screaming. The strained mood is kept by the guitars, which give the usual superfast tempo then. The guitar play is unchanged, it’s Behemoth quality, the brutal trashing is played unbelievably fast, which is at least as good technically as energetic it is. I must highlight Transmigrating Beyond Realms Ov Amenti, He Who Breeds Pestilence and Defiling Morality Ov Black God, because they have that typical old black metal feeling, missed by me in their recent music. Death metal features and tiny melodies doesn’t really play a role in these three songs, and with this, the atmosphere is much more apocalypric than in other songs on the tracklist. These other songs are great as well, but they don’t have too much new features. We can find many staccato guitar themes on this album, too, their tempo is kept by the killing drum themes of Inferno. The voice of Nergal also hasn’t changed, it gives a lot of extra energy to this really powerful music. There’s no complaint about Colin Richardson, the producer did a great job: the sounding is excellent. There are less supplemental instruments and effects than on The Apostasy album. It’s not a problem of course, it makes the destroying atmosphere even more powerful. The last song, Lucifer, is a good closing song with its eight minutes of length and slow tempo. This base tempo song has a satanic atmosphere, which is frightening enough. Through the end of the song, an incomplete song emerges and strengthens, but then falls silent. This ending reminds me to the intro of the first song – maybe this is a frame for the album.
I must say that this is a great album, I can recommend it to anyone who likes black metal. They won’t be disappointed.
