Sodró, kétlábgépes, gitáros vezérmotívum, végig tempós dalvezetés jellemző a Sinthetic-re. Erőtől duzzadó, harapós témával indul a Trapped In Silence, melynek verzéje visszább vesz picit, de refrénje újra dinamikus, nyugis szólója pedig kellemes adalék.

A Bleeding Again egy akkordbontós lassú nóta, kiváló vokálmunkával, a refréntől erőteljes, torzított gitárokkal, fokozott lendülettel. Két szólója közül a második az emlékezetesebb.

Az Invisible Walls intrójaként is felfogható a gépiesnek ható ritmusokra lassú akkordozást és gitárszólót hozó, instrumentális Prolog. Középtempós, de a lassabb fajtából való nóta, s némiképp a Fallen From Grace nagy testvéreként is aposztrofálható a címadó nóta, mely egy hosszabb, összetettebb tétel a maga több mint nyolc percével.

A Disconnected egy egyszerű, akusztikus ballada. Extrák nélküli, de kellemes hallgatnivaló, jól elhelyezett vokálokkal. Női narráció nyitja a riffelősebb, szintén egy emlékezetes gitármelódia köré épülő középtempós Sentenced-et. A lemez egyik leggyorsabb, leglendületesebb nótája a virtuóz basszusjátékot és kiemelkedő refrént hozó Turning Away. Az album magasan legjobb és talán legösszetettebb szerzeménye a csapat nevével egyező című Destination’s Calling. Jó kis óóó-zós vokállal indul, és később sem adja alább. Kiváló gitárdallam, galoppozós verze, atom refrén, király, építkezős gitárjáték, koronaként rátekert szólóval; dalközépi visszalassulás, Savatage-re emlékeztető, visszhangot imitáló, felelgetős ének, majd a végén újra bombasztikus refrén.

A pontszám, a könnyen felidézhető tételek miatt: 7.

ENGLISH VERSION:

This is the first full-length album of the German band after a demo (2001) and two promos with 3-3 tracks (2003). The label thinks on the basis of the promo sheet that this album makes the band able to climb the stairway to Heaven. Contrary to that they got very good feedbacks from any regions of the world, I do not want to hurry so much. About the music Markus Göller guitarist mentions the name of Queensryche, Edguy and Gamma Ray. Similarity is able to be considered with the latter two bands, but at the Destination’s Calling the fast tempos are not typical. The band used a keyboard player on its previous materials, but nowadays they have four members, rushing towards the peak. They have already shared the stage with bands like Brainstorm, Ektomorf, Majesty or Freedom Call. With the Invisible Walls, the artwork of which was made by the Swedish Carl-André Beckston a new chapter begins in the life of the band.

The CD starts with an intro with the imaginative title: Intro, which is followed by the first song, Fallen From Grace with a nice guitar melody and a solo. Its construction is similar to Iced Earth’s Melancholy, but it is not as bittersweet power ballad as the aforementioned one; a great song and a great beginning.
Sinthetic is characterised by a sweeping main motif with guitar and double bass drum, and a fast paced path. Trapped In Silence starts with a full-with-force, biting theme. Its verse gets slower a bit, but its refrain is dynamic again and its moderate solo is a nice addition.

Bleeding Again is a chord-dissociating, slow song with perfect vocals, strong and distorted guitars and increased impulse. Out of its two solos the latter one is more memorable.
Prolog with slow accords and a solo on mechanic-like rhythms can be considered as the intro of Invisible Walls. The title track is a slower, mid-tempo one, which can be considered as the elder brother of the Fallen From Grace with its more than eight minutes length.
Disconnected is a simple, acoustic ballad. It is a pleasant song without extras, but with well-oriented vocals. The mid-tempo, more riffing Sentenced opens with a female narration, and is composed around a memorable guitar melody. Turning Away is one of the fastest tracks with a virtuosic bass play and an outstanding refrain. By far the best and maybe the most complex song on the album is the Destination’s Calling, which name is the same like the band itself. It starts with a great „oooh” vocal and it does not reduce the level even later. It has a perfect guitar melody, a galloping verse, cool refrain, fantastic, building guitar play and a solo around it, like a crown. There is a slowing down in the middle of the song, an answering vocal theme, imitating echo evoking Savatage, and a bombastic refrain at the end; very cool!

In connection with the last song I must express my incomprehension: if they can write songs like this, why are there only 2-3 songs (Fallen…, Turning…, Invisible…), which is in the train of this song. Basically, there are not problems with the other songs, but they are simply in another dimension. The melodies of the guitars evoke sometimes Iron Maiden, therefore (or even owing to this) they are good, but they are often catchier than the mainly middle level refrains. There is a band, mainly on the basis of the well-worked-out details, which seems to be talented, and should practice the song writing and learn its tricks. The evaluation is due to the easily evokable tracks: 7.
