A nyitó „Րszinteség” a megszokott, súlyos modern metal/hardcore jegyekkel zúz egyből az arcunkba.

Aztán felbukkan a Sick Of It All-os darálós rész, ami nekem aztán totál beteszi a kaput.

A zene? Mit is tehetnék hozzá ahhoz, hogy felkap, megpörget, magával ragad minden hangja?
A „Következetesség” folytatja a megkezdett sort, jófajta punk & hardcore düh tör előre mindenen át.
Kemény, súlyos hangok durvulnak be itt egymást váltva a felépítésen belül. Egyszerű, de karcos hangok ezek.

A záró track a „Kötelességtudat” címet viseli.

ENGLISH VERSION:

I’ve already written at Kronus Mortus about this Hungarian band (Strike demo 2008), which has four members. They issued a new album this year, titled „Becsület”, with one song difference. Temporarily it’s only Hungarian, but the guys are thinking about an English version, too.

The first song, „Րszinteség”, hits our face with the usual, heavy, modern metal/hardcore elements.. Kutya’s voice (singer) reminds me to Leukémia or AMD, and as for the music, well… don’t know, how to start writing about it. This track is really a heavy one, short, laconic, but very expressive. Staccato riffs, technically great drum themes, hard lyrics. They’re great!
„Önámítás” is the next song on the tracklist. It has a faster tempo frame, and confident lyrics. Things really start to thunder there. There are no cheap riffs, unneccessary notes, the themes follow each other in a well constructed way. „Elszakadás” is a song which is well suitable for listening it in a car. I need this song to thunder in my ears when I’m trying to respect the speed limits 🙂 Simple verses can be heard with their really powerful dynamics; the sounding is dirty, as it should be, everything is screaming from its sincerity. I like this in the Hungarian scene: there’s always a band which comes as a good surprise.

I can imagine „Függetlenség” as a film soundtrack, too. It’s a really fair song, characteristic, technically well build, full of little smart tricks, old school elements – they’re all unite well in this song. Lyrics also tells us much, they’re really substantial, meaty, like the whole album.
The beginning of „Csalódottság” is interesting (if I hear out it well, it’s acoustic guitar and drums). But of course after it, the crusing starts (in a relatively slow tempo, but it suits the song well). Then the „Sick Of It All”-like whirling part appears, which totally hit the lights in my opinion.
„Szavahihetőség” is again a worried theme, with powerful drum base and bass, the guitar isn’t a trill either. 🙂 The staccato riff drifts us to a deep mood, then it’s brightening, and in the end, you can’t decide which feeling was the true one. Raging vocals, harsh themes – unbelievable power. „Elszántság” is the next rock heavy track, which explodes in the room as it leaves the speaker, and takes everything. Here we can find the best moments of the Hungarian hardcore of the ’90s, which is really great, because this song needs this after the well known, usual elements. The solo part builds softly, it’s well constructed, and fits the song.

„Tétlenség” is a heavy whirling, when Kutya restrains himself a bit in my opinion. He doesn’t cry out what’s really inside him, instead of letting the beast out. As for the music, I can only say that all of its notes grab you, whirl you, and seize you.
Követekezetesség follows in the queue, a good punk and hardcore rage can be heard throughout it. Fast riffs, long notes, doubled drum themes, whirling vocals. Everything sounds great. The sounding is dirty as usual, and it improves the base well.
„Embertelenség” is also one of the lyrics which wake you up, and the music is also good there. The rhythm is accurate, the instruments play a technically good music, which makes the whole more vivid. It can really make the crowd crazy on a concert, that can’t be a problem in my opinion.
„Céltudatosság” forces our eyelids open with its wiggling guitar to see, and helps us in noticing the determined existence of us next to our own inner personality. It’s not painful, like the music either. Hard and heavy sounds change each other in the construction of the song. They’re simple but scratching.

The last track is titled „Kötelességtudat”. It starts with a cool guitar theme and drums, but then it starts to thunder. This is the only song on the album where we can notice the influence of modern metal, the album is mostly about hardcore themes, which is not a problem. The themes are very good in this song, too, though there are some weaker moments (like the repeating heavy metal-like riffs), which doesn’t really fit the song, but this doesn’t change my overall opinion. Like when I rated the demo, I can just say again, that the fans of this style are already late if they haven’t bought this album yet. I hope they will follow this path, go ahead! I’ll also try to get a dedicated copy! 🙂
