A 2005-be alakult Német death metal banda igencsak gyorsan jutott fel arra a lépcsőfokra ahová másoknak többször ennyi idő alatt sikerült, annak ellenére hogy a tagok csak 14-17 évesek. Első albumuk, a Death Prevails 2008-ban jelent meg, majd managerük, Achim Ostertag a Summer Breeze fesztivál kiagyalója, kapcsolatai révén és kihasználva a fiúk tehetségét könnyen összehozott velük egy albumot, a Burn After Reapinget amelyet a Nuclear Blast imádott.
Először Metal Campen hallottam az új album számait élőben, melyek már akkor meggyőzőnek, erőteljesnek és agresszívnak bizonyultak. A korong szólókban kevésbé gazdag, de az azt kompenzáló halálhörgéssel körbevont düh végigsimul az album alatt. Erőteljesen észrevehető mely ikonok voltak hatással rájuk a számok írása alatt, például a Vader, a Suffocation, a Cannibal Corpse és a Nile.
Az énekes, Phil, több hangszínben is megvillantja tudását. A George Fisher féle mély death hörgés, a magas és száraz fültépős black üvöltés és a gore-os pigsqueal folyamatosan észrevehető. Az albumra került egy tipikus metal balladaként induló szám, a Redying mely egy a stílusban nem használt breakdown által visszavezet az album földöntúli halálhangulatához. A gitártémák folyamatos reszelésekkel, tompításokkal és szaggatásokkal darabolják fel az albumot vontatot, zsíros hangzású mély szeletekké.
A másik szám amit külön kiemelnék, a Detholution, amely az előbb említettekre példa, emellett a dob és a gitár összhangját fényesen tükrözi. Amit én negatívumként tudnék felhozni a Burn After Reaping hallatán, hogy annak ellenére hogy a Nuclear Blast istápolja őket, az album keverése nem sikerült a legjobbra, emellett kicsit monoton módon következnek a számok egymás után, de azért élvezhető és ha így folytatják nagy sikernek örvendhetnek még a jövő folyamán.

This German death metal band was formed in 2005. They climbed the steps much faster than other bands, they are on higher level than most of the bands which consist of 14-17 years old guys. Their first album, Death Prevails, was released in 2008, than their manager, Achim Ostertag, who thought out the Summer Breeze Festival, as a result of his good relationships and the talent of the guys, built up an album, „Burn After Reaping”, which was loved by Nuclear Beast.
The first time I’ve heard the songs of the new album was on Metal Camp. They were convincing, powerful and aggressive there. The CD doesn’t contain too many solos, but the raging death growl which dominates the album compensates it . It’s easy to find out which bands influenced the music: Vader, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse and Nile, for example.
The vocalist, Phil, uses many ways to sing to show his skills. We can hear the George Fisher-like deep death growl, the high pitched, raw, ear-tearing black screaming and the gore-like pigsqueal constantly. Redying starts like a typical black metal ballad, but a breakdown, which is quite unusual in this genre, changes the song to a death metal atmosphere, setting an atmosphere of a different universe. The guitar themes use wiggling, distortion, staccato – they slice the songs with their juicy sounding into slow tempo pieces.
Other highlight of the album is Detholution. The previously mentioned comments are true for this song, the drums and the guitar are playing with a perfect harmony. Despite the fact that Nuclear Blast supports them, I can say some negative on the album, too. The album is far from the best, and the songs are following each other in a quite monotonous way. But it’s enjoyable, and if they follow like this, they can have great success in the future.
