Egyetlen stílusba besorolni az albumot nem könnyű. A leggyakrabban használt kifejezések, mint az „ambient folk” vagy a „neofolk” csak részletekben írják le Kentin Jivek zenéjét. Rengeteg elem van összeolvasztva a zenében, így létrehozva Jivek munkásságában olyan változatosságot és meglepetést, mely nem csak albumok, de az egyes dalok között is fennáll. Bár alkotásai nem kanyarodnak el túlzottan az általa felállított hangulatos stílustól, a dalok nem egy bevett mintát ismételnek. A dalszöveg és a hangszerelés úgy tűnik a fő gitárdallam köré épül fel, azonban minden egyes hozzáadott elem jel egy újabb kísérletre.
Az intró dal az album egészéhez viszonyítva egy kicsit keletiesebb, gyengéd ütemre és akusztikus pengetésre épít. Bár az akusztikus gitár, mint fő hangszer, leginkább a neofolk beütésű zenék eszközeként ismert, a Third Eye-t mégsem lehet egy lapon említeni olyan előadókkal, mint a Death in June vagy a Current 93, akikre a stílus úttörőiként tekintünk, vagy akár a Dead can Dance-el, bár egy enyhe hasonlóság kihallható az albumból. Azonban a Djinn Moloch Speaking című dal párhuzamot von a két stílus, Jivek és a fentebb említett bandák között, hisz a több rétegű stílus nem idegen a műfajban. Itt a dal viszonylag egységes marad a minimalista szerkezet megtartása által. A Jivek által felhasznált motívumok nem esnek az ismétlődő monotonitás csapdájába, amely oly gyakran történik manapság a zenékkel. Helyette mindig hoz valami újítást a megfelelő helyeken.
Mint azt a Jivek munkásságát hallgatók megszokhatták, sokoldalúságát a nyelvek váltásával is megmutatja. Így az albumon leginkább francia és angol szót hallhatunk. Személy szerint a francia sokkal szebben hozzáidomul a félig mondott félig énekelt vokálokhoz, mellyel előhozza a zene mögött rejlő rejtélyességet, melyre kitűnő példa a Mais Qui ëtes Vous Madame Blavatsky című dal. Itt szeretném még felhívni a figyelmet a Dopplegänger, L’ombre Ka nevezetű dalra, mely személyes kedvencem, főleg az album hangulatában bekövetkező drasztikus változás és a hangszerelés miatt, mely, jó értelemben véve, egy picit érdekes.
Azok számára, akiket rabul ejtett Jivek zenéje, az elkövetkezendő hónapokban fogja az egész világnak bemutatni legújabb alkotását, a Six Diamonds-ot. Jivek elmondása alapján az album a „játékelmélettel és a metaszimbológiával” fog foglalkozni „elhatárolódva, erőszakosan de mégis könnyed módon”.

ENGLISH VERSION:
To set this album into only one genre is not an easy thing. The phrases „ambient folk” or “neofolk”, most commonly used, describe Kentin Jivek’s music only partially. There are so many elements blended together into the music, showing enough diversity and surprise with not just every new album, but with every song that Jivek creates. Although his work does not diverge much from the atmospheric style that he has set over the years, the songs do not follow one repeated formula. The lyrics and background instrumentation seem to have been built around the main guitar melody, but every other added element presents a new experiment.
The intro track, compared to the rest of the album, is somewhat more oriental, built upon a gentle beat and acoustic strumming. Even though the acoustic guitar as the main instrument is mainly seen as a tool for neofolk influenced music, Third Eye cannot be put together with artists such as Death in June or Current 93, who are seen as the pioneers of the genre, or even with Dead Can Dance, even though some similarities can be heard throughout the album. The song Djinn Moloch Speaking, however, does draw parallels between the two styles, Jivek’s and mentioned bands’, as the multi-layered style is not uncommon in the genre. Here, comparatively, the music retains integrity by keeping the minimalistic textures as well. The motifs Jivek uses do not fall into the repetitive monotony that sometimes seems to happen with music nowadays. He rather brings novelty at just about the right turns.
As anyone who has listened to Jivek before could guess, he shows his versatility through the interchanging of languages as well. So, on the album, one can hear mostly French and English lyrics. Personally, I think that French blends much more beautifully with the half-spoken, half-sung vocals, as it brings out the mysticism behind the music; the song Mais Qui ëtes Vous Madame Blavatsky being the perfect example. I’d also like to point out the track named Dopplegänger, L’ombre Ka as my personal favourite, mainly because of the drastic change in the atmosphere of the album, as well as the instrumentation, which is sort of weird, in an amazing way.
For those who find themselves entwined in Jivek’s music, in only a few months his newest creation, named Six Diamonds, will be presented to the world. According to Jivek, the album deals with „the Game Theory and Metasymbology“ in an „ambient and violent, but smooth way“.
