A zenekart még a kétezres évek elején ismertem meg a „…when death shall have no dominion….” demójukkal, már akkor is figyelemre méltó teljesítményt nyújtottak. Később megjelent egy kislemezük, de utána egy kicsit eltűntek, most pedig előrukkoltak egy bemutatkozó lemezzel. Nagy kíváncsisággal kezdtem el hallgatni, főleg a miatt is, hogy úgy emlegetik őket, mint a Testament/Carcass/Death stílusait magán hordozó zenekar.
Rögtön a kezdésnél már hallható, hogy remek a lemez hangzása, szóval ebben nem is találtam kivetnivalót. A zenével sincs önmagában hiba. Nagyon változatos, technikás metalról van szó, ezért sok tekerést és váltást hallhatunk. Valamiért mégsem jönnek be a témák. Nagy része elég ismerős, az írásom elején említett zenekarokra gondolok. Egy-két jó riff kivételével semmi extrát nem hallok, azt meg ugyebár megtaláljuk más zenekarok albumán is. Másrészt a vokállal sem vagyok kibékülve. Szinte majdhogynem fárasztó és monoton az üvöltő vagy mormogó hang, de nem tudnám megmondani, hogy konkrétan mi a hiba vele, csak én nem találom túlzottan jónak.
A borító szép, de attól a zene sajnos nem lesz jobb. Igaz fontos ez is a kiadványoknál, és nem csak az eladás szempontjából, de hogy mennyire eladható lenne, egy sokadik klón lemez külföldön, ez kérdés. Itt Magyarországon talán lesz némi sikere. A következő lemez, már sokkal jobb is lehet, és akkor jobban felfigyel, majd mindenki a csapatra.

I met the band at the dawn of 21st century with thir „…when death shall have no dominion…” demo and they gave a notable performance with it too. Later they released a single then they disappeard for a short time but now they are back with a debut album. I started to listen ot it with great curiosity, mostly because they are mentioned as a band with influences of bands like Testament, Carcass or Death.
Right at the beginning it can be heard that the disc’s sound is superb, so I haven’t found anything negative about that. There either no problems with the music. Really varied, technical metal with a lot of fast parts and changes. But somehow the themes are not that good. A big part of it is pretty familiar, I mean the previously mentioned bands. There are some exceptions but most of the riffs are nothing special, we can hear this on other groups’ albums. On the other hand I don’t like the vocals. The shouting and nearly burbleing singing is almost fatiguing, but I can’t tell wath is the exact problem with it.
The cover is beautyful, but it will not makes the music better. It is true that this is important too, and not only because of the sellings, but it is still a questin that a clone-album like this one could be sold in foreign countries. Maybe here in Hungary it will get some success. Their next release might be much better and then the band will get more attention.
