A Jorge Rosado (ének), Darian (gitár), Dave (gitár), Drew (bass), Bobby Blood (dob) felállású New York-i Merauder új anyaga júniusban jött ki. Ez a 2003-as „Bluetality” óta az első studióalbum, azóta csak egy válogatás cd jelent meg, ‘Master Killers’ (2007) címmel.
Egy nagy hatású, fontos, 1990 óta működő zenekarról van szó, akik a metalcore születésénél is jelen voltak, és több bandára hatást gyakoroltak. Dolgozott fel tőlük számot a God Forbid, a Heaven Shall Burn és a Hatebreed is.
Egy igen súlyos, megbízható lemezt sikerült összehozniuk, ami a mai kornak is megfelel, ugyanakkor nem „adták el” magukat. Vagyis amilyennek a metalcore-nak lennie kéne…
Rögtön a nyitó „Until” egy nagyon jó témájú, középtempós szám, kiemelkedő még a 4-es „Gangsta”, de ezen az albumon található a zenekar első spanyol nyelvű dala is („Ahora”).
Agresszió, vastag gitárhangzás, odamondós szövegek – átlag 4 percekben.
Hatebreed, Biohazard, Earth Crisis, Agnostic Front, Pro-Pain fanoknak kötelező anyag! Nekem nagyon bejött, egymás után többször is meghallgatom bármikor.
Nemrég turnéztak a svéd The Haunted-dal Amerikában, remélem hozzánk is eljutnak valamikor.

Jorge Rosado (vocals), Darian (guitar), Dave (guitar), Drew(bass), Bobby Blood (drums) otherwise knows as the Marauder came out with their new record in June. This is their first LP since the 2003. They released only a compilation after Bluetality with the title of Master Killer.
This band is very important, they are together since 1990 and were there when the metalcore scene was born and influenced many band.God Forbid, Heaven Shall Burn and Hatebreed have made covers of their songs.
This is a very heavy album and meets even the newest expectations although they haven’t sold themselves. So it’s just like what metalcore should be.
The opening track Until is a very good mid-tempo song. The 4th track Gangsta is also very good, you can hear the first track of the band with spanish vocals.
Agression, great guitar sound, explicit lyrics – in 4 minutes per song.
Mandatory for Hatebreed, Biohazard, Earth Crisis, Agnostic Front and Pro-Pain fans. I really like this record I can listen to it again and again anytime. They toured with The Haunted in the USA, I hope they will have a hungarian gig sometime.
