2006-ban Ukrajnában alakult a csapat. A 2007-es év koncertekkel és tagcserékkel telt. Ebben az évben kezdte el felvenni a banda a debütáló albumát, akkor még Engrossed By Eternity címmel. A zenekarra jelentős hatással volt a Dimmu Borgir és ez érezhető is.
Az album borítója nem túl színes, viszont érdekes. Egy sínek között fekvő lányt láthatunk a képen, de halványan egy templombelső is kirajzolódik néhány vallási témájú szoborral.
A zene, amit a borító takar színesebb, mint elsőre gondolnánk. Bár a black metal-os baljósság megvan benne, aki kriptaszökevény-zenére számít, az csalódni fog. A hangzás tiszta, sok a dallamos gitár-riff és a szintetizátor is végigkíséri a dalokat, habár aki érteni akarja a szöveget, annak eléggé oda kell figyelnie (vagy olvasni a booklet-et). Tempó terén igen változatos a lemez, így nem lesz egyhangú. A duplázó és a pergődob végigpörög a számok többségében, mint az Engrossed By Eternity és a szintetizátorral nyitó In Your Eyes című nótákban, de akad lassú szerzemény is, például az It’s Only Darkness And The Gloom. Ennek érdekessége, hogy fuvola színesíti a meglehetősen hosszú számot. Pozitívum számomra, hogy a gitárok nem csak monoton kaparást végeznek, hanem elég változatosak.:) A kedvencem az albumról a Reconciliation With Desteny című tétel, aminek a refrénje fogott meg és zeneileg is teljesen helyén van. Említésre méltó, hogy az album teljes zenei anyagát a gitáros/énekes, Vitaly Gabelkov írta, ami kicsit Burzum-os érzést ad a zenekarnak.
Be kell vallanom, hogy nem vagyok egy black metal-os arc, így volt egy kis előítéletem az albummal szemben. Szerencsére kellemesen csalódtam, az album teljesen korrekt, akár heavy metal-füllel is, de a fekete-fém kedvelőinek sem kell elpártolniuk. Büszkék lehetnek erre a jól sikerült első albumra a srácok, talán lesz folytatás is, és határszomszédság kapcsán 1-2 magyar koncert is elképzelhető a jövőben.

ENGLISH VERSION:
The band was formed in Ukraine in 2006. The year 2007 passed with concerts and changes of the members. The same year they started recording their debut album, bearing then the title Engrossed By Eternity.
Dimmu Borgir had a great influence on the band, which we can clearly feel from their music.
Though the album cover isn”t too colourful, yet exciting. A young girl lying on the rails, a faint picture of a church interior in the background, with some religious statues.
The music is more vivid than we expect for the first time, having seen this cover.
While the portentous style of black metal is there, who is looking for a real fud music, will disapp. The sound is clean, there are several melodic guitar riffs and the keybords are accompanying the tracks all the time.
After all, who want to understand the lyrics too have to listen carefully (or read the booklet). Since the album shows a high variety of rhytm, it doesn’t become monotonous. Fast rhytms of snare and bass drums twirl along most of the songs, like in Engrossed By Eternity , or in In Your Eyes, which opens up with a keybord intro.
But we can find some slow tracks as well, eg. It’s Only Darkness And The Gloom. The odd thing about this latter one is that flute music lends colour to this fairly long record.
It”s a positive thing for me that the guitars don”t just simply scrape, but they are very exciting. My favorite from the album is the song Reconciliation With Desteny. The chorus part is the most fascinating and the music is also perfect.
Worth mentioning that the whole musical part of the album was written by the gutarist/ vocalist Vitaly Gabelkov , so the album has a slight Burzum-feeling.
To tell the truth, not being a black metal-guy, I had some prejudice against this album.
Now I must admit it was a pleasant surprise to me. The record is totally correct. Not only for the heavy metal-ears, but even the black meta-fans don”t have to turn it down. The boys can be proud of this well-made first disc, hopefully soon there’ll be a next one to follow. Besides, owing to the neighborhood of our countries, perhaps there”ll be chance for 1-2 concerts in Hungary sometime in the near future as well.
