A debütáló kislemez négy tracket tartalmaz, amit a Hangart Recording Studio-ban rögzítettek.

Az első nóta címe a Munkások dala. A modern metal alapjaival felvértezett szerkezet kezdő hangjai súlyosan robbannak be.

A záró dal Az ember bűne címet viseli. 🙂

ENGLISH VERSION:

The five member band from Nógrádsipek was formed six years ago. Upon the time, they first changed their vocalist in 2005, a year later, the drummer left, so the current lineup is: Kornél Anda (guitar), Viktor Kecskés (bass), Zoltán Lukács (guitar), Gábor Nagy (vocals) and Tamás Oláh (drums). The debut EP contains four tracks, and they were recorded in Hangart Recording Studio.

The title of the first track is „Munkások dala”. The base of the song follows the features of modern metal, and its initial notes rock heavily. The technically great themes sound well, but some of them are too schematic – those dull variations should have been peppered by some catchy parts, I can feel that they can do this. It’s the same for the lyrics, there are more or less good, but some of the lines are weak – but they can still change it. The second song can be divided into two parts. The subtitle of the first is „Az őrült tudós (az alkotó)”. The instruments are much more dynamic there, and the lyrics are also fair from start to end. The voice of Gábor Nagy is various, but some of the guitar themes are much softer than it should fit the themes. But the construction is full of ideas, even if there are some mistakes. The second part is „Új faj (az alkotás)”. Its various musical atmosphere is great, the staccato themes are shifted by trashing parts; and the pleasant, melodic solo is fair, too. It’s good to hear the clean drum themes, and the skilled play of Tamás is also contributing a lot to the overall image – there are many drummers who can only play powerfully or only softly. But everything is correct at this song.

The opening riffs of „Tűz és jég” are heavy, though the delicate background melodies should have demanded a bit more proper work. The acoustic section is very good, just like the following distorted theme. My only complaint again is the schematic variations in the songs. Even the solo is a bit weak: it starts good, but then it becames unnecessarily typical metal-like, which spoils its mood, though we can notice the skills of the guitarists.
The closing song is titled „Az ember bűne”. Its acoustic notes are vibrating smoothly at the beginning, and then the heavy distorted guitar rocks in. The smooth melodies and the catchy riffs are dominant there, too, though the vocals don’t hit as heavy as in the previous two songs. Good ideas, correct construction, fair conception. I can only say here, through the end of my review, that with more attention and by correcting the mistakes (I repeat: they aren’t big mistakes), they’ll be able to climb higher on their path. It’s worthy to pay attention to them, they can surprise us in the future. My score only reflects their mistakes. And one more thing, an answer to the guys: I had a pleasant time while I was listening to their music. 🙂
