Azt hiszem, a lemez címe kitűnően összefoglalja ennek a 10 szentségtelen darabból álló fekete dalfüzérnek az esszenciáját. A szent és jó sárba tiprása történik meg mintegy 40 percben, mind zenei- mind koncepcionális értelemben. Ahogy mér ezt a PROFANATICA gárdájától megszokhattuk, teszem hozzá.
A Disgusting Blasphemies Against God egyébként a második teljes hosszúságú album a zenekar történetben, és szerencsére nem szakít az eddig hagyományokkal. Ellenben minőségileg egy magasabb színvonalat jelent, mivel tényleg minden ízében kitűnőre sikeredett. Ugyanazt a primitív, barbári, szónikus támadást kapjuk, mint eddig is, ám kerek, jól megírt dalok formájában. Minden nagyon jól egyben van: a basszust sem nélkülöző, erőteljes, egyéni, de azért nyers hangzás, a hasító gitárok, a förtelemtől és gyűlölettől fröcsögő „ének”hang, az egyszerű, de hatásos dobtémák, a minden szentet gyalázó atmoszféra. Kiemelendő a minőségi gitárriffek felvonultatása (például Fuck the Blood of the Lamb), tehát nem csupán az érdekes koncepció lett értelmetlenül brutális zajmassza alá rendelve. Egyéni színfolt az is, hogy bizonyos dalok előtt Paul Ledney, akár egy élő fellépés alkalmával, „beénekli” a dal címét. Az egyik kedvencem, a lassabb, fenyegetőbb témákkal kezdő Covered in Black Shit is ilyen például, melyben még hangulatos, Sötét harangszó is felcsendül effektként. És muszáj szólnom a jól sikerült borítóképről is, amely ismét egy vallási jellegű témát dolgoz fel, természetesen a zenekar szemszögéből.
Az év egyik fontos és igen jó Black Metal lemezét készítette el a PROFANATICA szentségtelen triója, ez biztos.

I believe that the title of the album perfectly sums up the essence of this black pearl of songs consisting of 10 unholy songs. The treading down of all that is holy and good is being performed in these 40 minutes both in musical and conceptual terms. As we can be used to that by the horde of PROFANATICA, I have to add.
Disgusting Blasphemies Against God is, by the way, the second full-length album in the history of the band, and, fortunately, it keeps the tradition of the previous stuffs. However, quality-wise, it means a higher level since it turned out to be truly excellent in every aspect. We get the same primitive, barbaric, sonic attack as previously but in the shape of well-composed tracks. All is in its place: the rich-in-bass sound, which is powerful, unique but raw, the shredding guitars, the „vocals” of abomination and hate, the simple yet effective drum themes, the atmosphere of humiliating all that is holy. To be pointed out is the excellence of guitar riffs (for instance, Fuck the Blood of the Lamb), so it’s not just that only the interesting concept is subordinated to senseless, brutal noise. It’s also a unique colour for me that, before certain tracks, Paul Ledney, as at a live gig, announces the track titles. This also happens in one of my favourite numbers, Covered in Black Shit, which stars off with slower, menacing themes, and includes moody Dark bell sounds too. And I must also mention the excellent cover artwork which again depicts a religious theme, of course, from the band’s aspect.
The unholy trio of PROFANATICA have made one of the important and great Black Metal albums of the year for sure.
