Jól összejön a teljesen más hangulatú verzével, zseniális.
A 7.-ben ismét a kevés hang – sok pengetés elve érvényesül.
A 8. track a legnagyobb hagyományos riffmestereket idézi. A bevezető utáni kemény ritmus, váltások, ismét a modern metál hangulatába sodorják a dalt, már-már progresszív hatásokkal találkozhatunk. Itt sem fukarkodtak a témákkal. Változatos az egész lemez, minden dalban több téma, remekül összeillesztve.

A 9. dob/szinti dominanciával indul. Ilyen refréneket a Helloween-től hallhattunk korábban szelídebb formában.

ENGLISH VERSION:

The second album of the band with a controversial name will soon be out on Frontiers. The band, consisting of Swedish and Norwegian rockers, has released the debut in 2008, and they were formed in 2006. The members are no newcomers, the founder and drummer Ronny Milianowicz was a member of Dionysos, as well as a composer of Primal Fear. The bassist is also an ex-Dionysos member, Nobby Norberg, the guitarist Toya Johnsson, while the vocalist is the Norwegian Jan Thore Grefstad (ex-Highland Glory). The album’s producer was none other than Roy Z who worked with countless big names and legends, but he does not dislike the more modern line either (Judas Priest, Halford, Helloween, Bruce Dickinson, Opeth, Paradise Lost, Amon Amarth).

The info sheet describes the album as heavy metal, which goes without saying, but there aren’t many people who could clearly see through all this chaos ruling the metal genre today. Well, as for the chaos in the genre, this album also takes its part. Te first two tracks are relatively modern metal, but do not think of nu-metal since, for that, the guitarist and vocalist are too god. The tracks simply use interesting rhythms at the melody’s expense, mainly in the verses. Fortunately, this modernism does not ruin the music: the determining and necessary elements of the genre, the ingenious vocalisation, the guitar solos and the ordinary song structure has been left untouched. Though subjective, I usually get bored of such music soon, the staccato playing using only one or two notes is not my world, but in this music – though a modern touch can be felt – there are a lot of ordinary elements. They’ve got it right with the third track, it’s an excellent power metal tune, not fats, not staccato but simply ingenious. It’s the vocals that sell the first two songs but the third one is alright in every respect – memorable melody, excellent guitar solo, and a bit different feeling than the opening.

After the above mentioned third track they again use the two note solution in most part of the track, and the complexity of rhythm has increased at the expense of melody but it’s in no way progressive. The fifth one’s also a melodic song, almost lyrical. Here, I’m starting to think that this record is a search for their way between modern, complex rhythm-structured stuff and ordinary metal music. Or, they simply would like to conquer both camps :).
The sixth track starts like ordinary heavy metal but in the verse I got a bit uncertain. This song is getting its place with the chorus part after the introduction. It fits the entirely different mood verse well, ingenious.
In the seventh song, again there’re few notes – but there’s a lot of plucking. They’re well-composed songs, and even if I don’t faint of the accompaniment the vocals and chorus, and the excellent verse-chorus difference make the song enjoyable (here, the name of the band and its controversity come to mind).
The 8th track reminds of the greatest ordinary riff masters. The hard rhythm and changes after the opening drift the song toward modern metal, with almost progressive touches. There are quite a lot of themes here too. The whole record is varied, there are more themes in each song, blended well.

The 9th song opens with drum/synth dominance. The keyboards appear already in the beginning of the album in a modest way, but they’re not dominant all the way though because, I think, the band has no keyboard player. It uses an interesting melody at the accompaniment which is at times modern, elsewhere flirts with prog, and a thick, catchy chorus solves the question of „what genre am I listening” question. We could hear such choruses of Helloween previously in a more modest way.
The last track’s thick guitar/synth opening, slow, heavy world is a cool closing.

The whole record is a direct hit, and it is so especially when knowing the band’s name. They blend the themes in such a professional way, create tension in the verses (Deamon) and solve them with thick, melodic choruses (Saint) that you cannot be tired of it. The dominance of the founding drummer has left its mark on the album, he has not given up the complex but not progressively senseless rhythms. Besides, he is also an excellent guitarist (yes, there are guitar solos in all tracks, which isn’t that trendy today so if you are longing for ordinary metal, be not afraid of my philosophization of modern-non modern stuff), and the ingenious vocalist presents every idea in a flawless manner. An excellent material, mainly for the fans of ordinary metal. If they are longing for fresh ideas, and new blood, they’ll surely like it.
