Aztán a „World Suicide Machine”-ban is találunk jó megoldásokat, mint például a dal közepében hallható akusztikus rész, kiváló szólóval.

Sőt az utolsó „Invoking Mal-Being”-ben aztán végleg lesújt a fekete erő. A dal felig lassú tempóban zakatol „Woundz” beteg énekhangjával kísérve.

ENGLISH VERSION:

The Skaldic Curse named black metal formation is founded in 2000. I have never heard their name before but when I was watching the cover I thought that it’ll not be a simple task to listen to Britishs’ music. Three years ago they released an album and now they unleashed on us their second strike the „World Suicide Machine”. It’s pretty hard to describe their music, and they’re not even playing an ordinary kind of black metal. Their label like to call them as progressive black metal, and there are some verities in it. Since the riffs are not built upon the same pattern, moreover there are expressly complex, unordinary themes that grabs the attention of the listener. If I’d have to mention a simiral band I’d say Mayhem’s subsequent stuffs. Naturaly the ancient trash metal also can’t be missed from the palette. And all these things mixed generates such a misantrophic music that is not easy to take in.

Nearly all of the six tunes on the disc steps over the seven minutes long category, but despite this the songs structures are varied. The opening song „Pest Against Pest” is a real rage, from the guitars the riffs are just coming like a flood not giving a chance of rest for the listener. The stringed instrument’s play is prominent already, for this I appreciate the band. And in the „World Suicide Machine” we could hear fine issues, like the acoustic part in the middle of the song with an excellent solo. But for me one of the prominent songs by all means is „Worm”. In this song the dark mood catches the listener so hard and this is casted totally by the guitars. The music goes into doom-like depths here. And at the end the song gets faster to give a finisher to the „innocent” listener.

Then in „Genocide Storm” they reel the tempo to the maximum, the plummet weighed riffs nearly crushes the listener. Sadly it’s a fault that near the end of the album it will grow on us. Nay the last song „Invoking Mal-Being” the dark power strikes down for good. The song goes on slowly til the half of the song with Woundz’s sick voice. Then comes a bit of fater part, but in the end they’re returning to the dark reality, so we can liberate our mind’s and give ourselves to the darkside. After I’ve listened to the whole disc I didn’t had the feeling to put it on again, but I know there’ll be a time when I want to hear the evil, complex riffs, not simple themes and the deep moods. For the black metal fans it is nearly a msut have.
