A chicagoi agypusztító gárda első nagylemeze, számomra, piszok nehezen emészthető anyag.
Hogy miért? Jogos a kérdés.

Ami kifejezetten megöli az idegrendszert az a „Our Sun, Our Saviour” c. dal.
Számomra, ami leginkább kedvenc dalnak bizonyult a lemezről az a „Jump Room To Orion”.
Eszméletlen szóló, iszonytatosan durva és súlyos riff. Hihetetlen!

ENGLISH VERSION:

It’s the first album of this brain storming band from Chicago, and it’s a very tough stuff, it’s hard to get familiar with it. And why? It’s a good question. The atmosphere of the album is inspiratedly deep, dark, and it’s hard to receive its very specially pleasant feeling what this album offers. It’s unforgettable. But I’d add that it’s not pure doom metal. Moreover, we can easily notice the due effect of sludge and stoner influences. But it doesn’t spoil the music. But it makes the music even more strange and incomprehensible.
„Glorified Piece of Blues Sky” greatly represent the remarkable overlapping of these three genres, making this album enjoyable.
I could imagine an image of a globe directly after a world war while I was listening to the album. These feelings emerged after a few listenings. If you buy this album, or listen to the songs on myspace, first he/she will probably unlike it, saying what this mess is.

We need to let this noise, this brainstorming music enter our minds deeply. „Our Sun, Our Saviour” is the most mind killing song. It’s merciless. It decays our brain. It doesn’t make ourselves crazy, but it’s really a „fastly slow”, merciless song. But we can find other kinda songs. Like „One Amongst The Wheat Fields” or „Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence”, which are nice melodic songs.
My favourite song on this album is „Jump Room To Orion”. Outstanding solo, unbelievably rough and heavy riffs. Fantastic! The clean vocals fits the atmosphere of the song almost perfectly.
Anyway, it’s a really brilliant and unique doom metal music.

While I was listening to the album, I felt like there was a 50 tons heavy iron mass on me… Unhuman! Let alone the extremely raw guitars, harsh drum themes. They tell the story really well, it’s impossible to describe it. As for a first album, it’s a great work, really convincing. There won’t be many who like this. But if you’re touched by this kinda music, you won’t stop listening to this.
