Brief Sum: Two years after the release of the incredible record “Militant”, the Swedish old school Death Metal powerhouse trio Turbocharged strikes again with their fourth and latest album under the title “Apocalyptic”, which was released this September under the German label Go Fuck Yourself Productions. The 12 meticulously written Death Metal hymns prove without doubt that the horde of Ronnie Ripper, Old Nick and Fredrik Fister hasn’t lost a grain from their intensity; they are crueller than ever! The 40 minutes of apocalyptic elimination is a real treat for every old school Death Metal fanatic who, along with me, have been following the Swedish underground movement since the early 90s. Idén szeptember 8-án jelent meg a svéd old school Death metalt nyomató ördögi trió, a Turbocharged immáron negyedik stúdióalbuma, „Apocalyptic”címmel a germán, oly romantikusan csengő nevű Go Fuck Yourself Productions kiadó gondozásában. Ronnie Ripper Olson (basszusgitáros/énekes (aki olyan svéd hordákból lehet ismerős, mint a Vomitory és a Gehennah), Old Nick gitáros valamint Fredrik Fister dobos/háttérvokalista a 2 évvel ezelőtti „Militant” albumon is rászabadította a poklot a Death metal hívőkre, s ahogyan azt előzetesen várni lehetett, most sem történt ez másképp az új Turbocharged-alkotás esetében.
A 12 régisulis darabból álló, láncfűrészes hangzással felvértezett lemez 40 percnyi játékidővel bír, s ki-ki kedvére mazsolázhat a gyors, mindent letaroló dalok valamint a középtempósabb, remek hordakórusokkal, szép szólókkal ellátott nóták között. A nyitótételt, az „Angelcripple”-t a Soundcloud-on meg is tudják hallgatni a svéd old school Death metal iránt elkötelezett rajongók, továbbá a Turbocharged hivatalos YouTube csatornáján a „Religious and Infected” videoklipje is elérhető. A pontszám maximális, azaz egy hatalmas 10-es, s azt kell mondjam, az „Apocalyptic” már most 100%-osan benne van az évi kedvenc lemezeim között. Hail Ronnie Ripper, Old Nick and Fredrik Fister, remélem, hamarosan élőben is találkozunk nemsokára egy pazar kis Turbocharged-est alkalmával.
