Ezt a francia formációt más bandákban is résztvevő zenészek hozták össze még 2007-ben, szám szerint ketten (I.nR, Balrog) Nem meglepő így azt hiszem, hogy az ütemeket dobgép szolgáltatja a négyszámos anyagon, ami kis idő elteltével egészen megszokható jelenség. A kiadványnak egyébként ez már a második kiadása, az első verziót a Goathorned Productions jelentette meg tavaly márciusban, gondolom, nem túl nagy példányszámban, ezért adhatta ki újra a Debemur Morti. Nézzük, mit is rejt ez az igényes, mélyvörös borítóba bújtatott közel 25 perc.
Sok újdonságot nem, azt előre le kell szögezni, viszont ami van, az nem rossz. Egyáltalán nem rossz. Intro nélkül, gyors pusztítással veszi kezdetét a „Et Maintenant Je Lui Appartiens…”, és ez az extrém hangvétel a felvétel nagy részére jellemző is marad. Durva, horzsoló, sodró gitártémák (a francia Black Metal csapatokra jellemző módon előadva), negatív aura, mocskos, dögszagú ének, ördögimádó szövegek, és igen, ezen a lemezen is vannak templomi kórusok, ami kissé már kezd elcsépeltnek hatni szerintem, viszont az vitathatatlan tény, hogy jól alkalmazzák ezeket, és nem csak azért vannak oda téve, mert ez így trendy. Legjobban talán a záró,kilenc perces „Il N’y a Pas De Repos Ni Le Jour Ni La Nuit…”-ben használták ezt ki, tényleg monumentális hatást ad a zenének. Élő dobokkal viszont szerintem még jobbá lehetne tenni az egészet, nagyon remélem, hogy a következő anyagukra sikerül egy hús-vér ütőst találniuk, mert ezen négy dal alapján érdemes lenne tovább vinni a VI zenekart, ami remélem, nem csupán egy egy alkalomra szóló project volt. És ha azt is tekintetbe vesszük, hogy ezt az anyagot mindössze 3-4 nap alatt rögzítették, hát… Kár lenne értük…

ENGLISH VERSION:
This French formation was formed by musicians from other bands back in 2007, precisely by two people (I.nR, Balrog). No surprise then, I think, that they used a drum-machine on this four-tracker, but you can get accustomed to it after a short time. Anyway, this is the second edition of this material, the first one was out on Goathorned Productions in March last year, presumably not in a high circulation, that’s why Debemur Morti has reissued it. So let’s see what this material with a quality, deep red cover artwork hides in its 25 minutes.
Not too many novel things I must stress at first but what he have is not bad. Not bad at all. „Et Maintenant Je Lui Appartiens…” opens without any intro and with fast destruction, and this extreme attitude remains for most part of the material. Raw, harsh and drifting guitar themes (with the performance typical of French Black Metal bands), negative aura, dirty, carrion-smelled vocals, devil-worshipping lyrics, and yes, there are church choirs on this stuff too which is getting a bit worn-out but that’s an undeniable fact that they use these quite well and are not there because it’s trendy. They’ve exploited that in the 9 minute-long closing „Il N’y a Pas De Repos Ni Le Jour Ni La Nuit…”, it relay gives a monumental touch to the music. However, I think with live drums they could make the whole thing even better and I truly hope they’ll get a real drummer for the next material because considering this stuff they should continue with VI, which I hope was not for this release only. And, if I consider that this material was recorded in mere 3-4 days, well… It would be a pity…
