Way to End zúdít ránk.

A nyitó Facing The Abyss középkorias jellegű akusztikus gitártémával indul, mely csak a szám végén megy át disszonens riffelésbe.

Szerintem ennél sokkal nagyobb albumok fognak születni a jövőben, amiken Way to End felirat lesz!

ENGLISH VERSION:

A new 1000 years of damnation raises from the Normandian forests, as Way to End casts it on us. It’s interesting, French black metal isn’t well known on the metal scene, though there are several bands there which play decent music. Way to End was formed in 2006, and this debut album of them has just been released by Deberur Morti, which label had also been working with bands like Horna or October Falls.

It’s hard to get accustomed to this music, but it’s worthy to wait for its time. The conception of this album was a complex sounding of a mix of classic music and black metal. The melodies are chaotic and disharmonic, but it’s not disturbing – rather an interesting musical experimentation. The opening song, Facing The Abyss opens with a medieval-like acoustic guitar theme, which changes to a dissonant riffing through the end of the song. These instrumental themes can be found in other songs as well, moreover, in the closing song, No Dreams, we can hear the sound of the piano, too. The experimentating-like melodies which form the frame of the album are not too complicated, but they’re characteristic. Though the band is only 3 years old, they”ve already set their own unique atmosphere, which is sadly quite rare among new black metal bands.

Desecrated Internal Journey is a complex, atmospheric album, I can strongly recommend it to all black metal fans. I guess they’ll have even better compositions than this!
